Dr Gregor Shubel founded Evening Vet with one goal: to make quality veterinary care available after hours for North Shore families.
With years of experience across general practice, surgery, and emergency medicine, Greg combines technical skill with a calm, reassuring approach that helps both pets and people feel at ease.
Outside of the clinic, Greg enjoys hiking, exploring the Auckland coastline, and spending time with his own rescue animals.

Evie Bliss
Evie is our Receptionist working Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays. Evie likes house music and has little time for latin or soul music from the 1960s to 1990s

Dr Jimena Mendonça Nunes
Dr Jimena is an Argentinian veterinarian. She is working as a vet nurse here at Long Bay Vet and moonlights as a yoga instructor with her growing yoga business.

Dr Aleida Morell is a Spanish veterinarian who moved to NZ for the lifestyle but stayed for the most beautiful vet clinic in Auckland!

Rick is a Massey trained (best vet school in the world) Veterinarian who has a knack for surgery and procedures. He is also fluent in Mandarin for our Chinese clients!

Dr Krystal Xiran Yang
Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Massey University.
Krystal is an NZ grad who is fluent in Mandarin and English. She is a recent graduate with experience in Auckland. She is here 4 days a week alongside Dr Gregor and Dr Rick.
